today my life as a missionary is not so fun and here are some reasons why;
haven't had water from the city in a few days! which means dirty kids dirty husband and dirty self!
ordered a water truck to fill up the water tanks and they don't get here until 9:43pm (i guess i can say "at least they got here")
can't get olympics on tv
internet is slow
my house is dusty b/c of the dry season
Okay i guess i will stop and check on the water guys.
I do love all y'all and remember..... I do love my job.... when we have water: )

I just came by to check your blog after seeing that it is your hubby's birthday today (Happy Birthday Spencer). I have known you longer than I have known any other friend. Looking back I never realized how much you and your family influenced my life. I remember going to your house and just taking everything in. Your house was full of everything my house wasnt full of... family, stability, and so much love. I remember the first time I stayed the night at your house and we were at the dinner table, there was a wooden box on the table and inside there were Bible versus, I thought that was the coolest thing EVER (and still do!). I remember going to church with you and having such a great time, I tell my husband allllllllll the time about all the fun I had going to your church, VBS, and church camp (the old church is just down the road from my doctor's office, he knows I am going to tell the story everytime we pass... I think he has just accepted that I am going to tell him because he just smiles at me, lol). Somewhere in my garage is a wooden cross with nails in it and yarn strung around the nails, beautiful probably in only the eyes of a parent or 10 year old child... I remember making it during VBS. I remember a 4th of July at your house when Raymond and Grant had bottle rockets and the bottle rockets landed on Grant's house... his Mom was sooooo mad. Anyways, dont mean to ramble, I just wanted to say hello, and tell you that you are amazing! Even as a little girl, kicking a soccer ball around so gracefully, you were always such a great friend. I never realized how much the Baldwin's impacted my life... funny how when you are older you can look back and see things like that. You left such a great impression in my life. I have no doubt that while you are doing something I sit back and am just in complete awe of, I am sure that you do it as gracefully as kicking that soccer ball around. The life you are giving your children and the love you and your family are showing to others by giving love, stability, and family to those that may never know what any of that is, unless they came in contact with you all... it's really just all amazing. Thank you and your family for sharing your experiences... you are making amazing differences in people's lives!!!
